Cheongun Village

The northernmost South Korean town on the map — a Low-threat gambling town with the multi-floor Heavenly Luck Casino (High) hiding top-tier loot in the dark.

Cheongun Village is the most northerly South Korean point on Hajin — a small town that grew rich on gambling before the exclusion. Expressway No. 1 bisects it, border-control points stand at the eastern and western edges, and across the river to the north the fog-filled Russian Border zone looms, off-limits.

The town is rated Low threat, but its centerpiece is anything but: the Heavenly Luck Casino (High), a multi-floor fortress with an underground parking structure. Bring night-vision goggles — the casino’s mains power is down, and the operators like it that way.

Recon report: bring NVGs for the casino floor — it’s pitch black down there.
